* Collaborate with families to provide early help services in both home and community settings.
* Engage with parents as their child's first educators, enhancing the home learning experience.
* Conduct assessments to identify children's developmental needs and track their progress.
* Work alongside a multi‑agency team to ensure comprehensive support for families.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with service policies.

To Thrive In This Role, You Will Need

* A minimum of two years’ experience working with children aged 0‑5 and their families.
* An NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child development principles.
* Experience in delivering effective interventions and working with diverse communities.

* Is committed to inclusive practice and understands the importance of early intervention.
* Can work collaboratively within a multi‑agency team.
* Is adaptable, empathetic, and able to maintain professional boundaries.
* Is dedicated to continuous professional development and learning.

At Nottinghamshire County Council, We Offer

* A friendly, inclusive workplace where everyone is valued.
* Opportunities for professional growth and development.
* A supportive environment that prioritises work‑life balance.
* Generous leave entitlements and flexible working arrangements.
* The chance to make a real difference in your community.

Equalities and Diversity

Nottinghamshire County Council strives to ensure that it goes beyond the requirements of the Equalities Act and prides itself on being accredited as a Disability Confident Leader Organisation. Under the Disability Confident scheme (formerly the Guaranteed Interview Scheme) we would like to ensure applicants with disabilities are offered an interview if they meet the minimum criteria for a job. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.

Nottinghamshire County Council strongly encourages applications from all candidates from different walks of life, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, religion, belief, pregnancy and maternity status, age or sexual orientation.
