Education Welfare Officer – Delta Academies Trust
Salary Grade F Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 to £32,061 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £25,520.47.
Goole Academy is looking to appoint an Education Welfare Officer to join our academy in January 2026 on a full time, permanent basis. The Academy is a high‑performing school that serves a local community rich in industry and maritime history, located just off Junction 36 of the M62. From September 2024 the school has nearly 1,300 pupils on roll, with increasing numbers each year.
As an Education Welfare Officer (EWO), you will:
* Provide a dedicated service for students and their families, ensuring that students receive education appropriate to their needs.
* Assist families to maximise benefit from the education system and support regular attendance at the academy.
* Be involved in the development of the welfare service and the support of staff.
We are looking for someone who has the necessary skills and experience to support vulnerable children and families, thrive in a collaborative environment, and help drive the Academy’s upward educational trajectory.
