IT Technician
Location: Worcester
Salary: Up to £26,000 depending on experience
Role Overview:
We're looking for a proactive IT Technician to support and maintain internal systems across a growing, dynamic business. You'll be the first point of contact for IT queries, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to infrastructure improvements and system upgrades. This role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies and business functions, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their technical skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line support to internal users across various business systems
* Manage tickets via Jira, ensuring prompt and effective issue resolution
* Build and configure devices (laptops/desktops/tablets) for new and existing users
* Maintain and upgrade operating systems, software, and hardware
* Administer and support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and internal infrastructure
* Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers
* Liaise with external vendors for equipment repair and software support
* Travel occasionally to additional UK office sites as required
What We're Looking For:
* Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows, and MacOS
* Comfortable building and maintaining IT hardware
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
* Well organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks independently
* Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with SQL and database support
