Private Property Lawyer / Conveyancer
Locations: Telford, Shrewsbury & Wolverhampton
Hours: Full Time 35 Hours per Week
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Private Property Lawyers / Conveyancers to join a well-established and highly regarded legal practice with multiple offices across the West Midlands and Shropshire.
We are seeking ambitious and motivated individuals with a minimum of 3 years' PQE, or equivalent experience gained within a reputable law firm, to join a busy and successful Residential Property team.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential property matters, including:
* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Remortgages
* New build transactions
* Transfers of equity
You will work closely with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other professionals, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently while delivering a high standard of client service.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives and help build long-term client relationships.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* A minimum of 3 years' PQE or equivalent conveyancing experience
* Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
* The ability to manage a busy caseload independently
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent attention to detail and file management skills
* A clear understanding of the Solicitors Code of Conduct relating to referrals
* Knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and compliance requirements
Desirable
* Experience dealing with landlord and tenant matters
* Experience handling leasehold extensions
