The Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Internal Sales Executive / Administrator to join our Chesterfield team. You will play a key role in supporting our sales operations, maintaining excellent relationships with our stockists and resellers, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day sales administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage inbound sales enquiries via phone and email.
* Provide quotations, process sales orders, and follow up proactively with customers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with national and independent builders' merchants.
* Support the external sales team with administration, reporting, and customer updates.
* Maintain accurate records on our CRM system and prepare regular sales reports.
* Assist with pricing, product information, and stock availability queries.
* Ensure excellent communication between customers, logistics, and internal departments.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience selling too builders' merchants, construction supply, or related distribution sectors (essential).
* Excellent commercial skills.
* Strong sales administration and customer service skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with CRM systems essential
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer support
