The Opportunity
A strong opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established regional contractor delivering general works projects across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. You’ll oversee multiple small-to-medium value schemes, taking responsibility for programme, quality, safety and client satisfaction.
This role suits a hands-on operator who enjoys variety, autonomy and working closely with site teams to deliver projects efficiently and safely.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
* Managing multiple general works projects concurrently.
* Overseeing site managers and supervising delivery teams.
* Ensuring programme, quality and H&S compliance across sites.
* Supporting pre-construction, planning and procurement activities.
* Managing subcontractors and supply chain relationships.
* Liaising with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
* Conducting site visits, progress meetings and reporting.
* Supporting commercial teams with variations and change control.
About You
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager.
* Background in general works, refurbishments or small-to-medium projects.
* Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Confident managing multiple sites and priorities.
* Good commercial awareness and contractual understanding.
* Strong communication skills and a professional client-facing approach.
* Full UK driving licence.
