Job Overview
As a Seasonal Retail Assistant, you'll help make the magic of Christmas come alive for our customers. From assisting shoppers in finding the perfect gifts to keeping the shop floor looking merry and bright, you'll ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays are festive and inviting. You'll be a friendly face at one of the busiest and most joyful times of the year, spreading cheer while delivering the warm, personal service Bizzybods is known for.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products
* Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling
* Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction
* Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
* Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately
* Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support
* Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns
* Foster a welcoming environment by delivering outstanding customer service
Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a high street setting
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
* Familiarity with product demos to effectively showcase items to customers
* Ability to supervise others and work collaboratively within a team environment
* Proficient in merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and sales potential
* Basic math skills necessary for daily operations, including cash handling and retail math calculation
