ABOUT THE ROLE
M-Sport UK is at the forefront of global motorsport, running championship-winning programmes across disciplines including WRC, Rally Raid, and circuit racing. Behind every successful car is a team of dedicated professionals ensuring the right part is in the right place – and we’re looking for a Stock Controller to join that team.
You’ll play a vital role in the control and accuracy of our inventory systems, supporting production, assembly, and operations across the business.
The role and responsibilities include:
* Perform daily stock counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies quickly and accurately.
* Set up and manage item cards and production BOMs in Business Central.
* Raise and manage production orders and POP orders.
* Going through all routings, making sure costs are up to date to ensure we are selling parts at the correct price.
* Book out parts for use in the Sub Assembly and Hydraulics departments.
* Pick and prepare kits required for builds and assembly work.
* Maintain and improve the organisation of store shelving for optimal workflow.
* Lead preparation and execution of the year-end stock take across stores, departments, and trucks.
* Process all stock and order-related paperwork using Business Central.
* Run and monitor Jet Reports to ensure parts are properly consumed and assemblies correctly output on production orders.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.
* Computer literate with strong MS Office skills and experience using stock control systems.
* A confident communicator who builds trust-based relationships with colleagues.
Preferred Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar stock control or inventory management role.
* Previous experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system.
