Are you an experienced intensive care nurse looking for bank work in a Critical Care setting ICU/HDU? We would love you to come and join our Critical Care Team at Epsom and St Helier University NHS Hospital. Our team works across 21 beds cross-site with the flexibility to adapt to service needs, providing care for patients requiring emergency/scheduled surgery, acute medical patients and those needing renal or enhanced recovery support. We seek highly motivated team players with excellent communication and time‑management skills.

Responsibilities
* Provide high standards of holistic patient care and support the multidisciplinary team.
* Be involved in bedside teaching.
* Exercise your professional skills in a manner congruent with the NMC's scope of practice.
* Ensure the unit interfaces with all other departments professionally and productively.
* Act as a fully active member of the multidisciplinary team on the Intensive Care and High Dependency Units.
* Stay up to date with clinical developments relevant to the specialty and current issues relating to the profession and the Trust.
* Inform manager of any changes in circumstances that may affect safe and competent practice.
* Support the critical care clinical governance structure to promote patient safety and quality of care.
* Report incidents and serious untoward clinical incidents, complete relevant documentation, and cooperate with investigations as required.
* Ensure all staff are aware of their legal responsibilities regarding drug prescription, administration and custody.
* Maintain accurate records and information systems, and be trained in relevant IT systems.
* Manage own workload, prioritising care with advice and supervision of a senior staff member.
* Participate in unit and nursing service development proactively.
* Ensure safe patient care; staff may be asked, on short notice, to work at either Epsom General Hospital or St Helier Hospital ICU/HDU.
Requirements
* Completed a Specialist Critical Care Course (60 credits).
* Valid IV drug certificate.
* Recent experience in Critical Care within an acute care setting.
* Strong teamwork, communication and time‑management skills.
* Knowledge of and adherence to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
