Position Overview
We are seeking a Deputy Home Manager for a care home located in Oswestry, Shropshire. The role offers an attractive hourly rate of up to £26.12 (£54,500 per year) and the opportunity to work in a supportive and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing specialist nursing support and advice, exceeding professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements.
* Taking responsibility for resident care during the Home Manager’s absence.
* Supervising and coaching colleagues to deliver unparalleled service.
* Mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
* Implementing a person‑centred approach to care for residents and families.
* Recognising signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and reporting concerns appropriately.

Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse with a valid PIN number.
* Understanding of the standards of practice set by the NMC.
* Passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and to report concerns.
