Embedded Software Engineer

KO2’s client, a leading innovator in the autonomous automotive and infotainment sector, is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their growing development team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the design and development of a diverse range of next-generation devices that are helping to shape the future of the automotive industry.
The Role
You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, working closely with hardware and systems teams to build robust and efficient embedded software solutions. The work will primarily focus on developing new features and maintaining existing systems. They are ideally looking for a Degree-educated candidate with 4+ years industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Designing, developing, and testing software for embedded systems
* Writing code in C, C++ and Python
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product development
* Strong experience with Embedded Linux
* Proficiency in Python, C, and C++
* Solid understanding of software development best practices
* Experience with embedded systems architecture
* Knowledge of serial communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, etc.)
