Head of Network and BOS Consulting
Ericsson seeks a highly experienced Techno‑Operational Consulting Leader to lead the NW & BOS Transformation Consulting practice and be part of the Global Consulting Leadership Team.
Job Summary
The role involves delivering engagements that generate value for customers and enable greater value to Ericsson across OSS, Core/Cloud, RAN, Telco Orchestration, SMO, and BSS Transformation domains. You will act as an end‑to‑end Telecom Technology Consulting Hub, combining deep technical expertise with operating‑model knowledge and a strong business mindset.
Responsibilities (Global Consulting Team Leader)
* Drive global P&L and define objectives of NW & BOS Transformation Consulting
* Identify, develop and manage a portfolio of leading NW & BOS Transformation consulting offerings
* Generate consulting opportunities with sales, solution architects and technical professionals
* Lead the conversion of opportunities and contribute actively to proposals
* Guide and lead delivery of consulting projects/programs worldwide
* Engage as a thought leader at CxO level
* Manage the NW & BOS Transformation consulting team and stakeholders across geographies
* Contribute to overall business objectives beyond your domain
Domain Expertise (Summarised)
* Orchestration & Automation transformation – e2e methodology, industry approaches, operational impact
* 5G Core & Network – technology evolution, deployment options, business implications, monetisation
* Telco Cloud transformation – virtualization, cloud native, CI/CD, DevOps, operating models
* Operational transformation for 5G evolution – processes, metrics, OSS systems
* Agile & DevOps methodologies, OSS system support strategies, industry standards (TOGAF, ITIL, TMF, ODA)
* Telco Cloud technology trends – containers, microservices, MEC, public cloud solutions
Qualifications
* 15+ years of relevant professional experience with proven ability to sell and deliver consulting projects
* Leadership experience in consulting, including P&L responsibility
* Strong technical knowledge across Core, Cloud, RAN, Telco Orchestration, and B/S/O domains
* Strategic planning, transformation journey design, and fact‑based storytelling skills
* Excellent people and team leadership, coaching, and operational management experience
* Superior communication skills and experience working in international, cross‑cultural environments
* Bachelor’s in Engineering; Master’s in Business preferred
Location & Travel
Primary location: India (Gurgaon). Global role with expected travel of about 50% of the time to meet client demand.
