Here the ideal candidate will take ownership of full product life cycle within designated categories to achieve range and financial targets while aligning to the business needs and customer demand.
What will you be doing?
* Management of supplier relationships and categories for agreed-upon supplier portfolios and defined categories.
* Efficient supplier commercial revenue tracking and distribution.
* Select new items in accordance with the plans for developing and retaining internal and external customers.
* Commodity tracking and reporting, competitor analysis, price management, range reviews, and market updates.
* Make sure the trading strategy aligns with channel and consumer insights by maintaining regular communication with marketing.
* Create and maintain strong bonds with the sales team to optimise possible margins through product substitutions and recommended substitutes.
