Role Overview
The firm is seeking a Quantitative Researcher to contribute to the research, development, and implementation of systematic trading strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Researching and developing quantitative trading strategies within the firm’s automated trading platform
* Analysing large and complex datasets using statistical and quantitative techniques to uncover trading opportunities
* Building a strong understanding of market microstructure across different exchanges and asset classes
Typical Responsibilities
* Conduct research on new trading signals and model improvements
* Ensure all market data and supporting processes are ready ahead of the trading day
* Monitor the performance and behaviour of trading strategies during market hours
* Work with researchers and engineers to implement and refine trading models
Requirements
* Strong quantitative background with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Physics
* Programming experience in at least one major language such as Python, C++, or Java
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across global teams
