Description Administrative Support Officer Waverley Court Salary: £27,257 - £29,850 (pro-rata for part-time) Hours: 19 per week The Administrative Support Service provides comprehensive and flexible administrative support across the Strategic Planning function of the Edinburgh Health and Social Partnership (The Partnership). The Administrative Support Officer will provide general business support to the teams in the Strategic Planning function. The Administrative Support Officers will be assigned to specific teams, but will be expected to provide cover in case of absence or peaks in workload. Provide a reliable administrative support service through a variety of formats including; telephone, face to face, email, and online using both Council and NHS systems. • Work proactively to facilitate administrative support to the full range of services and activities. • Handle sensitive and personal information in line with appropriate Council and NHS policies and confidentiality guidelines. • Work within a team of administrative support staff dealing with activities in the Strategic Planning function through provision of information, guidance, or progressing requests to wider council services. • Work within agreed timescales to meet legal and statutory obligations. • Deliver administrative support to teams within the policies and procedures on the Council and NHS. • Use appropriate systems to process service requests or updates for wider council or NHS services. • Work with all administrive support staff to support new initiatives and the strategic direction of the Partnership and ensuring that that all services are planned in a consistent manner in accordance with the Partnership’s strategic objectives. This position is subject to Basic Disclosure check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
