As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, ideally with a proven track record in the waste industry, to help us win and develop larger regional and national clients.
The Role
This role is ideal for a successful Field Sales Executive in the waste industry who’s ready to take the next step.
You’ll be responsible for winning new business across manufacturing, warehousing & distribution, facilities management, and hospitality, while building genuine, long-term client relationships. You’ll primarily work with large, single or multi-site SME clients, while remaining flexible to support businesses of all sizes where there’s a strong mutual fit.
This is a predominantly field-based role with autonomy, trust, and strong internal support.
Key Responsibilities
* Win new waste brokerage business across your region
* Build relationships with regional and national organisations
* Carry out site visits and understand client waste requirements
* Develop tailored waste and recycling solutions with internal support
* Manage the full sales cycle from first meeting to contract award
* Maintain accurate pipeline activity via CRM
About You
* Proven B2B sales experience within the waste industry
* Currently a Field Sales Executive or BDM consistently hitting targets
* Strong relationship-building and new business skills
* Commercially confident and credible with senior stakeholders
* Self-motivated, organised, and a team player
* Full UK driving licence
* Ideally based in the Midlands or South of England
Salary & Package
£55,000 total package (including car allowance)
Uncapped commission
