Overview

St Mark’s Bupa Care Home provides person-centred care with an outstanding CQC rating. This permanent, full-time role as Clinical Deputy Manager (nurse leadership) is based in the home and requires 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional night visits or weekend work. Salary up to £54,392 depending on experience.

St Mark’s Bupa Care Home has an outstanding CQC rating and caters for residential, early-stage dementia, advanced nursing, respite and short stay, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, recovery post-op and palliative care. Responsibilities

* Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
* With the help of your team, create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date medication records.
* Ensure adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
* Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
* Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, and foster a sense of community within the home.
* Create and develop strong relationships with local partners, liaising with them to raise the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.


Qualifications

* Valid UK NMC pin and commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development.
* Understanding the impact of quality nursing care on residents’ lives, promoting independence, choice and dignity.
* Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
* Ability to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent at prioritising tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
