Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in both home care and care home settings. Your responsibilities will include following care plans, assisting with personal care, and fostering a positive environment through effective communication. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Follow individual care plans to ensure personalised support tailored to each client's needs. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to report changes in client conditions or needs. Document care provided and any observations made during visits to ensure continuity of care. Skills Experience in home care or working within a care home setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families. Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the specific needs of each client. A valid driving licence is preferred due to the location of the home. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members effectively. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
