About the Position
We’re seeking a capable and proactive Financial Controller to lead financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive salary of circa £75,000, along with benefits including a bonus scheme (post-probation), free on-site parking, and a stocked kitchen. You’ll work closely with directors and stakeholders, helping shape the financial future of the business.
Who We’re Looking For:
You’ll be an experienced finance professional with at least 3 years in a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally within an SME environment. You’ll hold a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE), and bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and confidence in using financial software and Excel. You’ll thrive in a hands-on, collaborative setting and be ready to take ownership of financial strategy and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
* Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Oversee cashflow, banking, VAT, and tax obligations
* Monitor costs and highlight financial trends and variances
* Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs
* Ensure robust financial systems, processes, and controls
* Support AR/AP processes and attend shareholder meetings
