Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week (including 1 day on a weekend and bank holidays)
Summary
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Garden Centre Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has an interest in plants and gardening, and enjoys helping customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting customers with plant and product enquiries
* Caring for plants, watering, pruning and general maintenance
* Stock replenishment and merchandising displays
* Operating tills and handling transactions
* Keeping the garden centre clean, tidy and well presented
* Supporting seasonal duties
Requirements
* Good customer service skills
* Enthusiastic and positive attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Physically fit (lifting, moving stock, outdoor work)
* Retail or horticulture experience preferred but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
