My successful client based just outside Blackpool, has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant. Please note that some training will be given, but the ideal candidate will be either studying for their AAT or AAT qualified.
The role involves:-
Monitor Debtors on a daily basis
Receiving payments from customers
Raise Invoices on Sage and send to customer
Enter daily Service invoices on Sage
Book out sales orders
Produce Delivery Notes
Process back order notes
Printing invoices/credit notes
Updating Ledgers
Credit return goods
Credit return goods
Monitoring Direct file - Sales Orders / Purchase Orders
VAT
Monitor Creditors - check supplier statements off to sage when they arrive - request any missing invoices or statements - ensure all on and agree by last week of month
Ensure payment and receipts have been allocated on Sage
Filing as and when required
Knowledge of CIS process and reverse VAT
Good knowledge of stock control ideally needed
