We are expanding our team with an Internal Sales Engineer. You will handle technical enquiries, specify solutions and help customers with accurate quotes and timely follow up.
Overview
Location: Hapton. Job type: Full time. Hours: 42 per week. Salary: £28,000 to £34,000. Holidays: 24 days plus Bank Holidays.
Key responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email with accurate product information and quotations
* Identify suitable products and solutions based on customer requirements
* Generate and process sales orders and follow up on quotations and opportunities
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, offering technical support where appropriate
* Work with suppliers and internal teams to confirm pricing, availability and delivery schedules
* Support the external sales team with key account management and project coordination
Ideal candidate
* Experience in a similar role or within the industrial automation or electrical control industry
* Solid understanding of products such as PLCs, drives, HMI systems and sensors would be preferable
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Confident working in a fast paced sales environment
* Organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
* Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems
