One of Teaching Personnel’s regular using client school based in Trafford (Altrincham) have recently gotten in touch to be supplied with a confident and dynamic MFL Teacher (ideally German teacher) who is able to teach to A-level (GCSE minimum) to work from now until the end of the school’s sumer term (July 2024). The school is based in Altrincham in South Manchester and takes pride in its ability to provide the best level of education for all of its students ensuring that no child is left behind. The school would need somebody to start as soon as possible to work on a full-time basis until the end of the Summer Term with the possibility of this being extended beyond this. The School is an outstanding all-girls grammar school with a fantastic reputation.
The role would involve delivering mostly German lessons to KS3, KS4 and KS5, however there will be the occasional French lesson on the timetable as well. It is essential that the candidate be able to deliver to a GCSE spec in German and also to A-Level desirable (however not essential). The teacher will be provided with lesson plans but will be expected to adapt the lessons to suit the teachers own style of teaching and to get the best results possible out of the students. Some of the pay details and other essential requirements are given below.
* Pay based on main pay scale ranging from: MPS1 - UPS3 per annum depending on experience.
* Must have QTS in MFL (German).
* Must be confident within a classroom setting and should be able to engage and motive students to learn.
* Must have strong literacy and numeracy skills.
The ideal candidate could be either an ECT or a more experienced teacher who is looking for full-time work until Summer. This is a fantastic opportunity for anybody who is keen to work in an outstanding all-girls grammar school with high expectations.
