What You’ll Be Doing
As our Integrated Water Management Lead for Merseyside and Cheshire, you’ll be the connector between United Utilities and a wide network of partners from local authorities and NGOs to landowners and flood risk managers. You will:
* Build and nurture strategic partnerships that unlock shared value
* Align regional plans to tackle shared challenges and deliver nature-based solutions
* Track and manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities
* Influence planning frameworks like WRMP, DWMP, and WINEP to maximise place‑based impact
* Ensure governance and delivery excellence across all integrated water initiatives
Key Accountabilities
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of building and delivering that integrated approach working across Merseyside and Cheshire to align plans, identify shared challenges and unlock innovative, partnership‑led opportunities. You’ll need a good understanding of planning frameworks, nature-based solutions, and the value of partnership working. Strong communication, organisational, and relationship‑building skills are essential, as is a proactive mindset that can challenge the status quo and explore new ways of working.

* Experience navigating planning frameworks (WRMP, DWMP, WINEP)
