Prism Connect is seeking an experienced Contract Shutdown Planner for a leading Oil & Gas Operator located in Aberdeen, United Kingdom. This is a contract role lasting for 3 months, where the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating all shutdown activities to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in shutdown planning, demonstrating the ability to develop and execute effective plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation during shutdown periods.
* Proven experience as a Shutdown Planner, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector.
* Strong knowledge of shutdown processes and methodologies.
* Ability to create detailed shutdown schedules and plans.
* Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to shutdown activities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
* Proficiency in planning software and tools. P6 essential.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
