Facilities Manager
Location: East Region, UK
Type: Permanent
Salary: c£48,000 basic + Benefits
We're looking for a Facilities Manager to focus on property and maintenance operations. An enthusiastic partner to our client’s growing team, a champion of service delivery who will be the go-to person for all things “facilities”. If you thrive on variety, value autonomy, and have known how to bring structure, safety, and efficiency to fast-paced, customer-facing environments, we should be talking.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Oversee FM operations (reactive & planned maintenance, compliance, cleaning, waste, utilities, security) across a regional portfolio.
2. Act as the key point of contact for all site-based facilities support in our region.
3. Manage suppliers and contracts, ensuring high performance, value, and accountability.
4. Lead projects and service improvements that align with business goals.
5. Report risks, budgets, and performance metrics to senior stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
1. 5+ years in Facilities or Maintenance Management with some multi-site experience.
2. Proven leadership experience across geographically dispersed teams or vendors.
3. Strong knowledge of building regulations, statutory compliance, and FM contracts.
4. Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
5. Technically confident, commercially aware, and comfortable managing large budgets.
6. IWFM membership (or equivalent qualification).
7. Full UK driving licence essential and willing to travel to sites in the region.
