1. About The Role

2. As our Group Fleet Manager, you will lead the strategic and day-to-day management of our national fleet of over 850 vehicles. Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will be accountable for ensuring our vehicles are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with our operational and ESG ambitions.

You’ll drive the development of a long-term fleet strategy, oversee procurement and disposal, and manage key supplier relationships. With a clear focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our colleagues across the business and helping us deliver on our Net Zero goals. This role is based in Datchet and offers a fantastic opportunity to lead one of the UK’s most dynamic fleet operations.

4. We’re looking for someone who is both operationally strong and strategically focused – a confident leader with a proactive mindset and a proven track record in managing large-scale vehicle fleets.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

* A minimum of 5 years’ senior experience in fleet or transport leadership

* A strong understanding of compliance requirements, maintenance cycles, and fleet strategy

* The ability to lead change and improve performance through systems, data, and innovation

* Solid experience in managing supplier contracts and negotiating value-driven deals

* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

* Confidence in using fleet management systems and Excel

* A full UK driving licence

* (CPC, ICFM, or similar certification desirable)
