Adi Facilities Engineering Contract Coordinator
About the Role
As a Contract Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the site services facilities management team ensuring all responsible sub-contract labour, work to the respective site rules and in accordance with the local site permit to work (PTW) system.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Controlling sub-contractors on site via the local site permit to work (PTW) system.
2. Ensuring all sub-contractors provide suitable and sufficient method statements that will inform a comprehensive and documented assessment of risk for any task carried out on site.
3. Following on from the submission of suitable and sufficient RAMS, issue PTW in line with the respective site regime/system.
4. Issue separate permits for any high-risk activities once adequate assessment of risk is undertaken and RAMS provided proving adequate due diligence.
5. Develop a process of continual documented monitoring or site audits to ensure all RAMS provided by sub-contractors are being adhered to during the duration of any works.
6. Sign off any PTW once sure that all works are completed to the specified standards and that any work area is left in a clean, tidy and safe condition once any work is completed.
7. Assist the facilities management team with any aspect of the service provided to site.
8. Monitoring projects for inconsistencies and report to the relevant manager.
9. Dealing with customer queries via email and telephone.
10. Booking in labour attendance dates for engineers.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
11. Experience working within a manufacturing/building or engineering company whereby you are fully conversant with the installations, orders, engineers, and client contracts.
12. Strong PC skills in Microsoft packages including Project, Word and Excel.
13. Confident communication skills and are able to work in a stand-alone role as part of a busy engineering projects team.
