Clerk of Works *Rolling temp contract or potential to go direct* *Social housing planned works* The role: Do you have an eye for detail? Do you possess experience of inspecting Cyclical works & kitchen and bathroom projects? If so, then join the team as a trusted Clerk of Works. How you'll do it As a Clerk of Works you will be responsible for providing a professional service on a planned maintenance & Kitchen & Bathroom renewal program primarily on our Housing stock. Your work will be crucial in supporting the delivery of planned maintenance work to customers in their homes. Working with the clients in our front-line housing teams, you'll work with our Project Managers and Building Surveyors to provide professional inspections advice. Your quality inspections and monitoring of our planned programmes will help us make sure we're getting works right first time. You'll use your knowledge and experience to review technical and material specifications, inspect works on site to ensure they are consistent with contract requirements, attend site inspections at regular intervals, and inspect and report as to the suitability of works to be undertaken. Key Skills and Experience We are looking for an established Clerk of Works with experience of working on planned maintenance projects including kitchen and bathrooms. Ideally you will hold an accreditation from the Institute of Clerk of Works or similar. You'll work in a changing environment, so we need a flexible thinker with the ability to solve the complex problems associated with a Quality Inspector role. As one of our technical experts, you'll be trusted to make sound recommendations across a range of residential buildings which vary in style, design, and age.
