Administrator (Pre Need)
Location: Choice Office - Torquay
Salary: £26,437 per annum
Working Hours: 8 hours per day between 08:00 to 18:00
The Opportunity
Are you a customer‑focused professional with a can‑do attitude and a knack for administration? Choice are looking for a dedicated Administrator to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the sale of funeral plans, providing expert advice, and ensuring seamless operations within our extensive network.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service tailored to each customer’s enquiry and specific needs.
* Write and distribute emails, memos, letters, and forms, and assist in preparing scheduled reports.
* Handle daily office tasks such as answering calls, processing payments, compiling spreadsheets, and filing.
* Address administrative requests and inquiries from branch employees, customers, and third‑party affiliates.
* Ensure accurate recording of all plan sales and redemptions, and maintain comprehensive administrative records.
* Promote our full range of services, including funeral pre‑need plans.
Essential Skills
* Customer‑focused and results‑oriented.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Competent in all aspects of administration.
* Strong telephone and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to work under pressure.
* Strong numeracy, literacy, and reasoning abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
Training and Compliance
* Complete required training and assessments to become a competent plan seller.
* Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) aligned with FCA requirements.
* Act in accordance with FCA Conduct Rules and Principles for business.
* Support and consider the needs of vulnerable customers.
