Role Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider for an experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to support a major student accommodation cleaning programme across multiple sites throughout the South of England this summer. The role oversees large-scale accommodation turnaround projects between June and September 2026, managing onsite teams, coordinating operations across several locations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Managing summer cleaning operations across multiple student accommodation sites
* Supervising teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors
* Monitoring quality, productivity, and project timelines
* Carrying out regular site visits and audits
* Ensuring health & safety and operational compliance standards are met
* Acting as the main point of contact for operational delivery across sites
Qualifications
* Previous experience within student accommodation, facilities management, hospitality, or contract cleaning
* Strong operational or project management background
* Experience managing multi-site teams in fast-paced environments
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
* Full UK driving licence essential
* Flexibility to travel across Bristol, Bath, Southampton, Brighton, and Exeter
