THE ROLE Joining us at our Avonmouth branch, the Branch Supervisor will support the Regional Manager of the Wholesale Branch in ascertaining the highest standards of business performance. As Branch Supervisor, you will continuously develop a safe working attitude amongst employees and deliver the safety standards for the site as set by NSG Group. You’ll identify training requirements for employees and work with the Regional Manager to improve business with current customers. Friendly, polite, and approachable, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing interfaces at all levels in the business. You will have the ability to identify issues/queries requiring timely resolution to a managerial level and be able to drive progress and overcome barriers to deliver results. You’ll have good attention to detail, be highly data rational and be a constructive problem solver who can manage/cover the branch in the absence of the Regional Manager. Key responsibilities will be: Working effectively as part of a team and having strong planning, prioritisation and organisation skills. Receiving deliveries and organising stock accordingly. Processing customer orders, branch banking and branch replenishment orders. Driving and general office duties. Ability to cover in the Regional Manager’s absence Pick customer orders and load relevant vehicles in accordance with a delivery schedule. Warehouse duties throughout the branch. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You and your Skills Good IT skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. A strong knowledge of SAP is preferred. Good attention to detail. Highly data rational.
