Job Summary
To support the organisation with the provision of advice and guidance in relation to insurance matters to relevant departments and Council as a whole. To coordinate the provision of information for insurance renewals and update as required to meet organisational needs. To manage an effective and efficient claims management function and promote awareness within Council to ensure that exposure to claims and losses is reduced by the adoption of best practice and lessons learnt. The post holder may assume additional duties reasonably assigned by the Safety Health and Emergency Planning (SHEP) Manager to address changing business needs and requirements including cover for sickness, leave or staff vacancies.
Hours of work
36 hours per week.
The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant.
Duration of Appointment
Permanent.
Work Pattern
Flexi 36 hours Monday to Friday.
Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice.
