1. Senior Support Worker
2. Part time – 18 hours per week – permanent
3. £14.20 per hour
4. Please note that this is an part time role but can be full time as a duel role with an extra 19.5 hours as a support worker at £13.16 per hour.
5. Support the management team in a supervisory capacity
6. Lead by example, modelling exceptional practice and behaviours
7. Promote the FitzRoy Values in everything you do
8. Provide in-the-moment guidance and support to colleagues
9. Conduct supervisions, helping others grow and develop
Due to the continued success FitzRoy are recruiting for an senior support for our Gidley Way service, who have experience of complex support needs and mental health conditions. People supported in our services may show behaviours of concern or a forensic background. People can be supported in a community setting who may be supported by a care and treatment order or be supported under sections of the Mental Health Act.
You will work with service users to help them live a fulfilled and happy life, whilst living as independently as possible. You will help to enable them to develop positive relationships and to be valued as equal member of their local community as part of their rehabilitation.
. We provide person centred support and we are looking for those that are ready for a challenge, can use their own initiative, think outside the box, and are highly motivated and passionate individuals.
You will be expected to act as a role model for excellent practice; be the senior contact for the team in the absence of the Manager and be responsible for tasks which provide support to the management team.
