HLTH Group is working in partnership with a trusted, child-centred provider to recruit a *Registered Manager* for a brand-new residential home launching in Redhill, Surrey This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping a new service from the ground up—creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and feel truly supported. *About the Role:* As Registered Manager, you’ll lead the creation and ongoing development of a high-quality residential home that prioritises the wellbeing, safety, and personal development of each child. You’ll work collaboratively with the newly appointed Responsible Individual and Ofsted Consultant to establish processes and practices that meet and exceed Ofsted standards. *Key Responsibilities:* * Lead the Ofsted registration process and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance * Implement effective safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection protocols * Recruit, train, and manage a skilled, compassionate care team * Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and education professionals to deliver tailored care plans * Monitor service performance, manage risk, and foster continuous improvement * Build strong relationships with local authorities, schools, healthcare services and Ofsted. *About You:* * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) * At least 2 years’ experience managing a Children’s Residential Home within the last 5 years * In-depth understanding of Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements * Experience in launching or commissioning new services is highly desirable * A motivated and compassionate leader with a commitment to delivering outstanding care In return my client is offering * Competitive salary: £60,000 per annum * A genuine opportunity to make a life-changing impact on children’s lives * High levels of autonomy and influence in shaping the home’s vision and practices * Supportive and child-focused ownership team who have a wealth of knowledge and experience within Children’s services.
