This role involves assessing and monitoring housing register applications and providing relevant information to clients and colleagues about the process.

Ability to work as part of a team

Strong organisational skills

Ability to undertake assessments in line with Council policies and procedure

Ability to display empathy when working with clients

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in the Housing Advice Service and across the Council

Ability to take responsibility for your own workload


About Us

The Access and Support team is part of the London Borough of Sutton's Housing Advice service. The team is responsible for the assessment and monitoring of housing register applications, along with nominations to Registered Housing Providers., The team works closely with other parts of the Housing Advice Service to prevent homelessness, and offer alternative housing solutions including accommodation in the private sector and social housing.
