Description
Main Purpose of Position
This role will involve leading the project management team, ensuring that high standards are consistently achieved and large scale events are delivered successfully, professionally, safely and in accordance with internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for sales and project management of production related enquiries, simultaneously working on a variety of events from the point of quotation through to delivery
* Offer professional and technical advice to other members of the Project Management team
* Primary account manager for a number of event agencies that Firebird support, building and maintaining strong, long lasting customer relationships.
* Develop and nurture new accounts
* Support the Head of Creative, assigning project managers to assist as and when needed.
* Strictly adhering to Firebird’s processes, championing strong communication and collaboration between departments
* Developing commercial growth and profitability on events and within the Project Management team
* Overseeing all events produced by the production team to ensure all pre-event processes are being followed
* Communicating project details to onsite teams to allow the smooth delivery of services
* Assist other Project Managers to develop briefs and pitches for events
* Contributing to post-event review meetings and regular Sales meetings
* Working with Head of Production to develop sales material

Essential Skills and Qualifications required for the role
* Excellent knowledge of Events, in particular AV, lighting and sound
* At least 5 years successful demonstrable experience in Events Production
* Excellent organisational skills
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in project work

* Tenacious and driven to ensure events are delivered to the highest possible standards
* The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
