The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, with a team of 4,000 'orange heroes'. We are seeking a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our team.
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work at short notice
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed roster. Roster details are provided seven days in advance, with core hours sent three days ahead. Working hours are between 0600 and 0200, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
