Tell me more about the Sous Chef Role...The site receives two deliveries daily from the prep kitchen with bulk made fresh food.What duties will I be doing in the Sous Chef role?* Food safety is a number 1 priority across Chilled Pubs. You must support the Head Chef by ensuring compliance is not only followed by yourself but by your wider team to ensure we retain our 5-star food hygiene rating.* Assist the Head Chef in managing the training of kitchen operations and food preparation. * Demonstrate a good working knowledge of fresh food and cooking techniques, ensuring the company specs are consistently followed.* You will need to be comfortable and happy working both independently but also as part of the wider kitchen team.
