We are currently working with a leading Leisure-first business that provides Hospitality and Leisure venues across the UK, renowned for their strong food concepts and excellent leisure experiences. With the UK tourist industry booming, this company is in a strong growth phase. They are seeking a new Commercial Director to oversee ROI across their portfolio, manage risks, identify new commercial opportunities, and work with sponsors and partners. The role requires a focus on leadership, coaching, and a strong sales and marketing background.
Role Overview
This position is central to the business, reporting directly to the CEO. The Director of Commercial will develop the brand, collaborate with partners, lead hiring during growth, manage onsite and offsite promotions, oversee marketing calendars, and manage partnerships and new concept launches. You, the CEO, and CFO will form the executive team responsible for strategic growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic oversight of the operated business and affiliated brands
* End-to-end management of venue relaunches and openings
* Direct management of operational teams and associated functions
* Supervision of core business activities
* Promotion management for external partners
* Branding responsibility for new concepts from marketing
* Coordination with delivery aggregator marketing plans
* Support with fundraising and board management alongside CEO and CFO
* Contribute to company strategy and vision
* Innovate and propose company evolution strategies
* Analyze market research and data to inform planning
* Work diligently, make quick decisions, and organize chaos effectively
