* Hold overall accountability for site performance across safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity.
* Lead integrated production planning aligned to demand, oil intake, packaging, and stock availability.
* Champion continuous improvement in throughput, waste reduction, changeovers, and consistency.
* Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all departments.
* Ensure high standards of GMP, Food Safety, PPE, and “Clean As You Go” are embedded and consistently upheld.
You will also:
Champion a strong Health, Safety, and Food Safety culture, working towards zero recordable injuries through visible leadership, compliance, and accountability. You will ensure full adherence to internal policies and legal requirements, lead effective investigation and close‑out of safety, environmental, and quality incidents, and partner closely with the Technical team to uphold the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and food safety. Through continuous improvement of equipment, processes, and ways of working, you will ensure quality issues and product rework are resolved promptly, protecting both customers and brand integrity.
About you:
* Experience with D365
* Proven experience within food manufacturing and supply chain operations, with exposure to warehouse and transport environments.
* Strong background in production management, with confidence managing absence, return‑to‑work processes, and employee relations matters.
* A people‑centred leader with the ability to positively influence challenging cultures and support long‑term team development.
* Demonstrated success in identifying opportunities for change and thoughtfully shaping operational improvement.
* Comfortable working autonomously, with the energy and curiosity to drive meaningful change initiatives.
* Experience leading large teams (100+), creating trust, clarity, and engagement at scale.
* A track record of setting, delivering, and embedding KPIs and service commitments that enhance the customer experience.
* Sound knowledge of BRC and food safety compliance audits.
* Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
* Digitally confident, with experience using inventory systems, MRP, and performance measurement tools.
* Commercially aware, results‑focused, and motivated by delivering sustainable success.
