Job Description
* Job Title: Packing Operator
* Job Type: Permanent
* Location: Deeside
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday
* Salary: £24,785
* Industry: Life Sciences- Pharmaceutical drug development (GMP)
We’re looking for an experienced Packing Operator to join our Manufacturing team at SGS CDMO Solutions. If you’ve worked in a production or warehouse environment and have hands‑on experience with packing, labelling, or working on the production floor, this could be a great next step.
What You’ll Do
* Dispense, pack, label, and prepare products to meet the production plan
* Follow processes for primary and secondary packing of finished drug products
* Support smooth operations across multiple cleanrooms
* Set up rooms and equipment, complete production documentation, and maintain accurate logs
* Contribute to a “right first time” culture and support problem solving
* Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards
* Carry out post‑production cleaning, reconciliation, and documentation closure
* Work closely with Room Leads and the wider production team to achieve the delivery of finished drug product
Qualifications

* Experience in packing within a production or warehouse setting
* Strong attention to detail and a quality‑first mindset
* A team player with good communication skills
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, process‑driven environment
