Knowledge of Microsoft hypervisor and virtual environment management. Experience auditing system log files and anti-virus monitoring using tools like SolarWinds NPM/Observability, Kiwi Syslog, Splunk, and Trellix ePO. Familiarity with networking vendors such as Cisco and FortiGate, with experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and upgrading network devices. Understanding of LAN and WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Ability to physically install servers, workstations, and network devices, with cable management to MoD Standard. Experience with system integration across different security classifications. Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, DEAL, SCIDA accreditation requirements of JSP 440 and 480. Familiarity with ITIL processes and procedures. General IT troubleshooting skills. Some knowledge of Linux, containerization, JIRA, and Confluence is preferred but not essential. Responsibilities: Administer, patch, secure, and maintain the LSIF systems within the MISC environment. Prepare systems in line with testing requirements and implement changes as necessary. Maintain government-furnished computer equipment, ensuring its availability for users. Liaise and communicate effectively with suppliers, owners, partners, and users. Assist with system preparation for customer and project requirements. Support security and export control matters, including ITAR and IVCO. Help plan, execute, and report on testing events. Contribute to long-term facility planning and hardware/software procurement management. Manage configuration control of assets, documents, and change requests.
