About the role
As a Supervising Social Worker you will support the delivery of safeguarding and fostering services across the borough. You will work closely with children’s social workers, partner agencies and fostering panels to provide high‑quality, child‑centred practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide regular supervision, guidance and support to approved foster carers.
* Complete statutory visits, annual foster carer reviews and quality assessments.
* Safeguard children by identifying and responding to risk, concerns and allegations.
* Contribute to placement stability, matching and support planning.
* Maintain accurate, timely case recording and reports.
* Work collaboratively with children’s social workers, partner agencies and fostering panel.
* Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in fostering practice.
* Participate in out‑of‑hours duty/rotas as required.
