If this sounds like you, then we’d love to welcome you to our friendly, supportive, positive team! We are currently looking for a Homelessness Prevention Officer.
In this fast-paced role, you will be working within the team to prevent households from becoming homeless or assisting them to find suitable accommodation via a personalized housing plan. You will support and provide advice to our most vulnerable residents at a time of crisis, working with them and empowering them to resolve their threat of homelessness.
Qualifications
* Experience of working with vulnerable clients.
* A degree in a relevant subject area or significant knowledge gained through work experience.
* Ability to deal effectively with challenging situations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage well with clients and partners.
