GENERAL DUTIES ASSISTANT RAF Marham The Company: Dodd Group was formed in 1947 in Shropshire and has remained a privately owned family business ever since. The role: We are looking for general duties assistant or a hard-working enthusiastic labourer to assist with delivery of our contracts work across RAF Marham, for which transport will be provided. You will be expected to carry out the emergency light testing and updating the logbooks associated with this, support and assist our existing team members, assist with collection/delivery/escorting of parts, plant and external contractors, and be a useful pair of hands. Working on industrial and utility sites, health and safety is very important. Clothing and PPE is provided, and you will have the opportunity to gain qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, confined space entry, working at height, first aid, manual handling and asbestos awareness. You will need: As a General Duties Assistant, you will have relevant practical experience, a full clean driving licence and a good basic understanding of site-based H&S. Familiarity with a tablet-based systems would be advantageous but are not necessary.
