The Role: We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen brigade. In this role, you'll take charge of preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience. Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet our exacting expectations. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations with absolute consistency. Work efficiently under pressure to ensure timely service during peak breakfast hours. Assist in managing stock levels, storage, and ingredient freshness. Support the Head Chef with kitchen organisation, cleaning routines, and compliance documentation. Contribute to menu planning by suggesting seasonal or creative breakfast dishes. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless guest experience. About You: Essential Previous experience in a similar role within a quality-focused kitchen, hotel, or resort. A genuine passion for food, particularly breakfast service and presentation. Experience working with high volumes while maintaining consistency. Excellent team spirit and communication skills. Sound knowledge of food hygiene regulations (Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or higher). Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, early-morning kitchen environment. Physical stamina for long shifts and the ability to stand for extended periods. Desirable NVQ or equivalent in Professional Cookery. Knowledge of modern breakfast trends and dietary requirements. Previous experience in luxury or spa environments. Shift Pattern: Full-time: 45 hours per week 5 days out of 7, including weekends and holidays Typical shift: 06:00 – 15:30 Flexibility is essential to support business needs and operational coverage.
