Join our team as a Vehicle Technician, ensuring the reliability of our fleet and equipment. Your expertise will drive safety, efficiency, and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles and plant equipment to the highest standards.
* Conduct inspections, brake and smoke tests, consulting the Workshop Supervisor before starting work or ordering parts.
* Diagnose faults and update the Workshop Supervisor on progress and requirements.
* Complete job cards and inspection sheets via tablet, ensuring all time is logged accurately.
* Quarantine and label defective parts/tools, reporting to the Workshop Supervisor.
* Follow Health and Safety guidelines, ISO9001 standards, and environmental policies.
* Promote a safe work environment by reporting hazards, incidents, and near-misses.
Skills & Experience
* Strong understanding of motor mechanics and vehicle maintenance.
* Familiarity with workshop operations and SAP systems.
* Experience in vehicle/plant maintenance, ideally in logistics.
* LGV Motor Mechanics Level 3 certification (essential); Forklift certification (desirable).

Job Details
Monday to Friday, 06:00–16:00, 40 hours per week.
On-call rota: 1 week in 6. Week 1: Monday–Thursday; Week 2: Tuesday–Friday.
