Graduate Quantity Surveyor - 2026 - UK Wide

This role sits within our Infrastructure operating unit, supporting our projects in various locations across the UK. Current projects include the A428 upgrade between the Black Cat and Caxton Gibbet roundabouts, Network Rail’s Northwest & Central framework and Anglian Water’s capital programme in Peterborough.
What you\'ll do
* Assist with contract administration and commercial reporting.
* Accurately input and manage data in contract management systems.
* Certify and process contract change control by logging change notices, obtaining approvals and quantifying cost/time impacts.
* Keep detailed cost ledgers, reconcile site and procurement records and assist in cost negotiation and agreement with subcontractors.
* Actively engage with the Skanska Graduate Programme for professional development towards chartered status.
What you\'ll bring to the role
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Commercial Management or equivalent (RICS accredited).
* Familiarity with commercial IT systems (e.g., Oracle, CEMAR, ProjectWise) and proficiency with spreadsheets for costing, data manipulation and basic modelling.
* Solid understanding of measurement and estimating (take-offs, cost checks, bills of quantities or schedule of rates) and awareness of contract variation, notices and claims processes.
* Clear written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, team-working mindset and active pursuit of professional accreditation.
* Driving licence or plan to obtain one within the first year of work; site visits across the UK.
Note: this role requires visits to sites across the UK.
