We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our vibrant breakfast and street food cafe. As a key part of our culinary team, you will assist in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that our high standards of food safety and quality are consistently met. Duties
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
• Follow food safety protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Ensure that meals are prepared according to specifications.
• Participate in catering events by helping to set up and serve food as needed.
• Maintain organisation in the kitchen by keeping workstations clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
• A keen interest in culinary arts and meal preparation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Previous experience of using delivery platforms (Uber, Deliveroo etc) is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic kitchen setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
